Our Story
Chicago Building Services was founded in 1996 by Andrew Meshenberg, who continues to own and lead the company today. Andrew built CBS on a simple philosophy: long-term success comes from exceptional service and trusted relationships.
Rather than pursuing every opportunity, CBS focused on serving a select group of Chicago-area property management companies. By providing fast response times, dependable workmanship, and responsive customer support, those early partnerships grew into a steady stream of repeat business and referrals that established the company’s reputation.
In 2006, Ron Meshenberg joined CBS to help scale the business and expand its capabilities. Today, Ron serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Sales Director, helping guide continued growth while strengthening customer relationships throughout the Chicagoland area.
